Who would you like to take dinner with?

If you had the option of choosing someone, who would you choose? Simple question, with a lot of answers. Let’s see: you can choose wether he or she is alive or not. In both cases, you can choose someone you know (friend, family member...), an unknown person or a famous one. Let’s focus on the last option. For example, my dinner mate would be Frida Kahlo.

Ok, now you may think she is such a topic, and maybe she is, but for me, she is the kind of person I wish I could have met. Nowadays she is an icon for almost everyone, but in her time, it took her a bit more to became someone. She became ill when she was very young, and when she was 18 she had an accident that almost killed her. She went through around 35 surgeries and through a lot of pain. Instead  of drawning in her own pain, she fought it and learned how to live with it. Frida handled with it during all her life, but it never stopped her on painting, dreaming, fighting for people's rigths… in summary, on enjoying life.

I’m not going to tell you everything about her, but in my opinion, not being scared of death and making strength out of nothing is admirable. Wether you like her work or not, it’s almost impossible to deny she was a fighter and an artist.

Maybe you prefer Einstein, Virginia Woolf, Stephen King or Marie Curie, among others. So here’s the thing:

Who would you like to take dinner with?

I hope you enjoyed, and I also hope to see your dinner dates!
